Thank you to Frank and Jackie Magri for holding
the meeting and supplying the tasty food for the entrees at the
picnic.
28 members attended the yearly picnic and
brought many wonderful dishes of food to fill out the menu.
The 50/50 was won by Keith Baggus and presented
to Frank and Jackie Magri to defer the cost of the food and paper
supplies.
Train Collectors Association (T.C.A.) has been
sent our application and a YouTube video of the P.G.R.S. Keith is to
contact them and let us know when the next planning session will be
held.
Tina Weimer will chair the next meeting at
Clark Kemmerer’s.
Dave Bodnar requested that all newsletter items
be to him by Oct. 25.
Lee Brandes suggested that we invite people to
our meetings and that we reestablish a work day program in the club
to help people with their layout.
Alycefaye Stewart suggested members work on a
layout plan for the T.C.A. layout. 24’ X 24’.
Tina Weimer reported that the raffle at
Brownsville made $177. The cost was $73. Barry Baker won the raffle
and donated the train back to the club for the raffle at the Castle
Shannon show on Oct. 30th.
John Weimer suggested that we could do layout
for T.C.A. in basement at Brownsville. The Castle Shannon layout
will be 24’ x 24’ (Called them…we are now doing a 20’ X 24’ because
of our new rug sizes)
Keith Baggus requested that we bring all the
refurbished buildings that we inherited from Bill Patterson to
Brownsville.
