Rails to Gettysburg

Join us for a wonderful two day experience as we go back into history and visit the location of the greatest battle of the Civil War, Gettysburg, PA. We will begin our day with the motor coach departing from the Carnegie United Methodist Church parking lot (415 Washington Ave. Carnegie, PA 15106) Friday September 22, time TBA, and this year we have made arrangement for a second pick up point at the Monroeville Mall, Monroeville, PA for our people from that side of town.

Our Trip includes Transportation by deluxe motor coach, One night’s stay at Courtyard by Marriott, Full hot breakfast, Dinner with ”Abe”, Entrance to Gettysburg National Military Park museum, Film, Cyclorama painting, Behind the Scenes of the Cyclorama and Battlefield guide for a 2 hour Battlefield Tour, Entrance to the Lincoln Train Museum and a ride on the York #17 reproduction of the train that carried President Lincoln from Washington, DC to Gettysburg, Pa where he delivered the Gettysburg Address. Steam into History had the train built for the 150^th anniversary of the Gettysburg address.

The cost of this trip may be hard for some of our people living on a fixed income so we have set up two ways of paying for the trip. The first payment option is full amount when making the reservation, the second option is to make monthly payment following the schedules below. We are hoping this will make it a little easier for everyone to take this trip. The deadline for making reservation is August 15, 2017, also for final payment if selecting that option.

                               Quad occupancy $237.          Single occupancy $333.
