After
dinner, Keith Baggus, outgoing president, reflected on his term
as president and on some of the year's activities.
Keith mentioned the new reward system that was described in the
December newsletter along with a picture of the reward, a Track
Cleaning Locomotive. It begins in 2011 for participation at club
shows, in hosting meetings and for transporting the club
trailer. Details will be on the web site. A drawing from all
member's earned tickets throughout the year will be held at the
Dec 2011 dinner to award the winner.
Treasurer, Ann Celento, reported the club’s end of year
financial data as of that date. A comprehensive final report
will be put on the web site after the end of the year.
Keith announced that the winter 2011 Greenberg Train Show, that
was going to be held in February 2011, has been changed to
January 22, 2011. The club decided, by an almost unanimous vote,
to not participate in January due to recent low participation,
the possibility of severe weather and the shortness of time to
prepare.
Ballots were handed out for the 2011 election of officers.
Officers elected were President: Jan Vogt, Vice Presidents:
Paul Stewart, Jim Schwarz, Treasurer: Ann Celento, and
Secretary: Sondra Wiggins.
The following members were recognized for their years of
participation in PGRS. 5 Year Pins: Bill & Jill Fallecker, John
& Sondra Wiggins; 15 Year Pins: Ann & Ed Celento.
