Christmas Dinner 2010

On December 4, 2010, PGRS held its Anniversary Christmas Dinner at D’Imperio’s Restaurant in Monroeville.  Hors d’oeuvres and beverages were served as members arrived.  The dinner started with a delicious fish bisque, bread and salad followed by the main entrees of broiled tilapia or chicken cordon blue served with potatoes and vegetables followed by a tasty parfait.  Everyone enjoyed an evening of pleasant conversation in a cozy setting. After the dinner, the election of officers was held followed by a short business meeting.  The wrapped Christmas presents, the door prizes, were given out to members whose ticket numbers were drawn. Decked out in their bright Christmas duds, red blazer and red shirt, Al Hartman and Paul Stewart, collected for the 50/50 drawing which was won by Jim Schwarz.  To close out the evening, John Wiggins handed out his 2009 homemade ornament, a wooden Christmas tree, to all in attendance.
