Carol and Bob Gettemy hosted our meeting with a wonderful luncheon of homemade vegetable soup and ham sandwiches along with sides. 15 members attended. We sat outside and enjoyed the train display for about an hour or so and the beautiful day.

Keith opened the meeting with news of Jackie Margi's recovery from a foot fracture. She is doing fine.

Tina went over the train rides for October 21 and 22 at the Potomac RR and Cumberland RR .  As of now the weather looks good.

There is no meeting for the month of November. Anyone wishing to host for November, please contact the club.

We are applying for the January Greenberg Show at Monroeville to set up a display. It will be the weekend of 7th and 8th with set up on Friday the 6th . So loosen up those knees!

Christmas Party is Dec 10th at Palmieri's Restaurant on Frankstown Road. Clark and Alice will be doing the legwork. The cost should be the same as last year. More information to come.

The Trolley Museum show will be in June.

Talked about getting younger people involved. Anyone with information on scouts' troop that would be interested, please speak up.

John talked about the convention he and Tina attended at Cumberland. They enjoyed the lectures, experiences and history of the area which was shared.

Clark sold 50/50 tickets with Jack Pyle the winner.

Ended with wishing Bill Patterson the best on his upcoming back surgery on October 24th . Good Luck Bill!

Respectfully Submitted,
