THIS IS A DAY TRIP BY DELUXE MOTOR COACH, WE’LL BOARD AMTRAK’S THE PENNSYLVANIAN AT JOHNSTOWN TRAIN STATION. RIDE THE TRAIN TO ALTOONA, PA. AROUND THE FAMOUS HORSESHOE CURVE. THEN TRAVEL BY COACH AND VISIT THE RAILROADER’S MEMORIAL MUSEUM ,ENJOY LUNCH AT THE MONTE CARLO CASINO RESTAURANT, AFTER LUNCH ON TO BENZEL’S PRETZEL OUTLET, AND HORSESHOE CURE VISITOR CENTER, THEN THE LAST STOP OF THE DAY WILL BE THE LEMON HOUSE AT ALLEGHENY PORTAGE RAIL ROAD NATIONAL HISTORICAL SITE AND MUSEUM.

Itinerary: Saturday December 14 – Day one

3:00 PM-Check in to Holiday Inn Express Elkins, WV. (Has indoor pool and breakfast is include)

5:00 PM- Dinner at Rail yard Restaurant Elkins, WV (next door to Depot, includes live music- kids invited to wear their pajamas) across street from Inn

7:15 PM-Depart Elkins, WV station on the Polar Express,  across plaza from restaurant Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, pajama clad passengers relive the magic of the story as this nighttime train whisks families away for an unforgettable ride to the North Pole. During the journey, the Conductor will punch tickets and dancing Chefs serve hot chocolate, followed by a reading of Van Allsburg’s classic. At the North Pole, Santa will board the train and greet the children and offer a gift for those who truly believe – a silver sleigh bell. See video at www.mountainrail.com

3:00pm-American Mountain Theater Elkins, WV 2-hr live Christmas Spectacular across street from Inn

Cost Breakdown: 2 Adults (one room) - $302. Price per child (sharing room with adults)-$75 Child pricing for age 11 and under. Price per child (over 12) or adult sharing a room with 2 adults is $96. 10% of final cost is due April 1, 2013 to book weekend and the rest of the payment due November 15, 2013.
